Celebrating Harmony Day at Preschool: Everyone Belongs

This year, our Harmony Day celebration at preschool was truly special, as we embraced the theme Everyone Belongs. It was a day to celebrate how every individual, no matter how big or small, plays an important part in creating a harmonious community.

To kick off the celebrations, we hosted Play and Stay sessions every morning, inviting parents, carers, and family members to join in the fun. It was wonderful to see so many families actively participating, engaging with the children, and showing their support for our preschool community. The children absolutely loved sharing their space with their families and showing them all the exciting activities we had planned for Harmony Day.

One of the most heart warming sights of the day was the sea of orange that filled our yard and classrooms. Orange is the colour of Harmony Day, representing cultural diversity, respect, and inclusion. Everywhere you looked, there were little ones and adults proudly wearing their orange outfits, creating a beautiful, vibrant display of unity and togetherness. It was an uplifting reminder that we all play a role in making our world a kinder, more inclusive place.

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us for Play and Stay and wore their orange with pride. Harmony Day was a reminder that, no matter our differences, we all have a role to play in creating a harmonious world. It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and love, and we can’t wait to celebrate it again next year!
